About Me

Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out my lil' ol' blog. I wanted to take some time to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about my everyday life. My name is Emily, I just turned 30 years old (and I'm still having trouble coming to terms with that). I am going into my 8th year teaching!

I live in a small town in Delaware, the same town I've lived in my whole life. I actually teach in the school district that I attended as a child. I started teaching in 2008, and at that time taught 4th grade. After that first year I was able to take a position teaching Kindergarten, which was my lifelong dream - and I've never turned back. I believe you have to truly have a passion for Kindergarten in order to enjoy it and be able to stay at that level for years. You either love it, or hate it -  and I LOVE it! I can't wait to start sharing my classroom adventures on this blog, I am so excited!

This is me and my fiance....the love of my life!

This our son, Kaydence. He is 7 years old and is entering 2nd grade this year. Kaydence is the typical first-born, oldest child. He is very independent, smart, and a tad bossy opinionated. Kaydence is very hard on himself and a perfectionist, especially with his school work - by all means he's my child! He's so handsome, right?!!

This is our son Keeryn (Keer-in), he is 4 years old. Keeryn is our wild-child (a superhero in training)! He has been a lady killer in the looks department since he was born - I mean he's seriously gorgeous (but I might be a little bias)!  Every where we go the ladies compliment him on his eyes/eyelashes. Yes, I know he's adorable....and my response to that is this - he's lucky he's cute! (Totally kidding of course) :)  Seriously, this kid knows how to pull on my heartstrings just by giving me a look! Keeryn is funny, charming, loving, and the center of attention. I like to say he's is Daddy's child! :)

I am so excited to start this blogging journey. I'm sure you'll learn a lot more about me and my family along the way! Thanks for stopping by!
